Maths Tuition

At Select Learning Centres we provide tuition in mathematics for students of all ages, from key stage 1 numeracy, through GCSE and A-level modules. We believe that small achievements can be built on to give enthusiasm for the subject itself, which in turn speeds up the learning process and allows access to the higher grades.Whatever the ability of the student, we can provide an individually tailored programme to equip them with the skills they need, in particular:

• Confidence handling algebraic expressions & solving equations
• Appreciating how maths applies to real life situations
• Verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills
• Understanding their ability progression & how to attain the higher grades.
• Removing sticking points in all areas, from fractions and negative numbers, to trigonometry and calculus.

With every child the focus will be on different aspects of Maths but we are fully prepared and experienced enough to cater for all areas that children might need to develop.
